Sandra Pereira

Sandra Pereira is a Principal at BDO Canada, specializing in private equity, M&A, and alternative investment fund advisory. She advises fund sponsors on fund formation and structuring, and institutional investors, including family offices, on primary, secondary, and co-investments across real estate, energy, private credit, and infrastructure. Sandra has worked on over 500 transactions totaling more than $20 billion, delivering practical, business-driven solutions.

An accomplished executive and board director, Sandra has held senior roles at Riverstone Advisors, Tricon Residential, Manulife Financial, Deloitte, and GE Capital Canada, leading tax, strategy, and post-merger integration initiatives. She has served on multiple boards and committees, including as Chair of Financial Executives International Canada’s Business Policy Forum Committee. Sandra holds a Master of Taxation and Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto, is a CPA, CA, and a graduate of the Rotman Executive Leadership Program and the Director’s College.
